Welcome to the Scions of Britain website!
Our club was established over 30 years ago as a group of enthusiasts of classic British cars. We are a motoring group made up of members from Erie, PA and the surrounding area.
Membership in the Scions of Britain is free and open to owners and enthusiasts interested in the preservation of any British car marque. Our members own MGs, Austin-Healeys, Triumphs, and Jaguars, as well as other lesser known English cars. Our members can be found during the spring, summer and fall months at many of the classic car shows throughout the tri-state area.
You don't have to own a British car to join the club. Many members just enjoy the club camaraderie, without the costs and challenges of car ownership. All British car enthusiasts are welcome to join the club and participate in club activities.
People join our club for a number of reasons. There is a core group of members who enjoy the personal club fellowship and attend almost every meeting and event. Others can't make it to the meetings, but enjoying supporting the club and participating in club activities when they can. We coordinate and sponsor fun events from early spring to late fall, including car rallies, attendance at various car shows and cruise nights, a club picnic, a Christmas Holiday get together, and regular monthly club meetings to plan activities and discuss shared interest in classic British cars.
The club's major event is the annual Scions of Britain All-British Car Show. It is hosted each year by the club during the month of August or September. The event attracts many British cars of all kinds, and is the club's main fund raiser to bring in money to offset club activities.
Enjoy our website, and send us an email if you'd like more information about our club. You'll find a wealth of technical expertise and experience among our members, and we are always happy to welcome new lovers of British automobiles!
